About Me

O satisfy us in

the morning with

Your lovingkindness,

That we may sing

for joy and be glad

all our days.

Psalm 90:14

NASB

Saturday, June 16, 2007

And now, verses for the day:

"But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God...

If anyone thinks himself to be religious, and yet does not bridle [Lit., control] his tongue but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is worthless.

Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."

James 1:19b-20, 26-27 (NASB)
